While temperatures continue to climb this summer, the Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Society invites jazz newbies and enthusiasts alike to gather inside for another swinging monthly meeting and concert.

Three Las Cruces musicians who make up the Third Line Jazz Trio will take to the stage on Sunday, July 20 at Alma d’Arte Charter High School to delight audiences with charts and arrangements from the Great American Songbook, mid-20th century pop, New Orleans style funk and Brazilian Bossa/Samba. Attendees can look forward to improvisation and interplay among the musicians. 

Third Line Jazz Trio musicians include:

• Mike Sunjka, guitar

• Arnold Schnitzer, string bass

• Brian Wright, drums

Tickets are $5 for members, $10 for non-members.
